This vintage Green Gander mallet head putter is model H and was made by Mann Golf Company. It is engraved on the sole with a Mountie’s hat and a trumpet. The Scotte grip is in excellent condition… very soft and tacky. The steel black coated shaft is in great shape. The putterhead is smooth and clean, showing some bag chatter. Putterhead has 3 lead inserts… one on the heel and two on the sole. Length is 35 inches. This is a very rare collector’s piece… I have never run across a putter of this type before. A very unuseal and old looking left handed hickory shaft niblick. It is marked as follows: NIBLIC, TOLETO, SUPPLY CO., and AT ?????? TIC, all I can make out of this name. The leather wrap grip is completely intact and looks great. The shaft is has no splits & a slight bow but judge for your self on this from the photo. Up for auction is what I think is a lawn garden game ball? Not sure, but due to the fact it is a little of center from molding and its 1.9 inch diameter, this leads me to believe that this would not be a traditional playing ball. It seems to be made from solid gutta percha or some sort of hard rubber. It has a very hard feel to it. I have never seen one before, but bought it in an antique store at least 15 years ago. I am sure one of you out there know what this is. Pictures say it all, no condition issues or cracks. Just age. If you have any questions you can call me at 541-335-1082. David
